Description	With the BAT®-system you: measure accurately and efficiently the pore pressure. keep track of pressure fluctuations in the soil. have a fully digital system which stores the data in the internal  memory of the BAT®-sensor. download results to a PC for further analysis. can also directly read out pore pressures. determine the permeability of the soil (with an additional set). collect accurate groundwater samples (with an additional set).
Operation	The complete BAT-system consists of a filter tip and a sensor. The filter tip is pressed down to the desired depth using a standard gas pipe. Through the hollow gas pipe the BAT-sensor can easily be lowered down. As soon as the BAT-sensor has contacted the filter tip the pore pressure measurement will start. The BAT-system is multi-purpose and flexible. You decide when and what to measure. You can either measure manually or continuously. The system enables you to follow the progress of your project remotely. Through a GSM-link you can download the measurement results where and when you like, enabling you to analyse the measurement data on your own PC. The pressure sensor is easily retrievable and can be used over and over.
Interpretation	Once monitoring has been completed the readout IS-field unit is connected via RS232 to a (portable) Windows computer for full analysis. Windows PC software is included.
