News upon the VIBRA-series - December 2009
SBR has decided to grant Profound customers a 10% discount on the courses "Vibration regulations in practice". SBR publishes the official, Dutch regulations on vibration monitoring and interpretation. The VIBRA-sbr/VIBRA+ of Profound fully complies with SBR-part A and B (Vibration effects on constructions/Vibration nuisance for persons). During the advanced course, the VIBRA-sbr is used for practical purposes by participants. The SBR courses are given in Dutch.

SBR heeft besloten Profound klanten 10% korting te geven op de cursussen "Trillingsrichtlijnen in de praktijk" die SBR organiseert. De VIBRA-sbr/VIBRA+ voldoen volledig aan SBR deel A, B. Tijdens de verdiepingscursus wordt tijdens het praktijkgedeelte ook gebruik gemaakt van de VIBRA-sbr.

The WOODPECKER, a professional, non-destructive tool for testing wood. The WOODPECKER measures the integrity of wood, specified in the number of millimeters that the striker pin has invaded the wood. This integrity gives an indication of the density, quality and load bearing capacity of the examined wood.

- Expanded range of IS-Liquid Levelling Sensor. Profound has expanded our measuring range of 60 mbar with the 160 mbar sensor and the 400 mbar sensor. With the new sensors it is possible to allow for larger elevation differences between sensors.
- Release of new IS-field unit. New: USB connection, enlarged memory and updated IS-field unit PC software.
- Release of version 2.5 of the VIBRA-series software both for the VIBRA-models itself as the PC software. New features include: PC remote control software, enhanced e-mail and mail alarm features.

the 3D geophone cone, designed for high-performance ground vibration monitoring, measuring dynamic soil parameters. The geophone cone is connected in the same way to the system as the standard geophone.

Nieuw: de 3D geofoon conus voor de VIBRA-serie. Deze conus wordt met sondeerapparatuur weggedrukt in de grond om daar ter plaatse de trillingen in de grond te meten, bijv. trillingen veroorzaakt door een tunnelboor. De geofoon conus wordt op dezelfde manier aangesloten op het systeem als de standaard geofoon.
